Yingtianmen Gate of ancient Sui-Tang Luoyang imperial city, grand Tang dynasty architecture
Nerys
August 14, 2026
The Hanfu evening was something I almost skipped because I thought it might be too touristy. I'm very glad I didn't. Walking around Luoyi Ancient City dressed up, with the lights coming on and little performances happening around the streets, was genuinely fun. It was probably the most playful part of the trip after several days of museums and historical sites. Also, I ate far too many snacks that night.
Blooming peonies and ancient Chinese pavilion during Luoyang Peony Festival
Niall
August 13, 2026
The peonies were the main reason I booked this trip, and luckily they were in really good shape when we visited. The National Peony Garden was huge and there were so many different colors that I probably took too many photos.
I also liked that the tour didn't make the whole trip about flowers. Longmen Grottoes was completely different and probably the most memorable place overall. Our guide gave us enough background to understand what we were looking at, but we still had time to wander around by ourselves.
The train station pickup and drop-off were also very convenient. For a short two-day trip, everything felt quite straightforward.

August 13, 2026
I thought the Hanfu experience would mainly be about getting dressed up and taking a few photos, but I ended up enjoying the whole day much more than expected. The hair and makeup were beautifully done, and everything felt quite natural once we were out exploring.
We visited a few of Luoyang's historic places along the way, but the best part was simply walking around in Hanfu and having time to enjoy the atmosphere. The whole day felt relaxed and fun, and I came home with some of my favorite photos from the trip.
Shaolin monks performing traditional martial arts stage show at Shaolin Temple
Orlaith
August 13, 2026
I was expecting this to be mostly a Shaolin Temple sightseeing trip, so the morning at the martial arts school was a really nice surprise. We got there early and watched the students training before joining some of the basic exercises. I lasted considerably less time than they did! The two-hour Kung Fu lesson was probably my favorite part. It was much more about stance, balance and repetition than I expected, which made me appreciate the performance on the last day a lot more. The driver was also very punctual throughout the trip, which made everything feel easy.
Lotus lanterns and entrance sign of Qingming Shanghe Garden in Kaifeng, Henan
Niamh
August 13, 2026
Before the trip, I was mostly interested in Luoyang and Shaolin, so I wasn't expecting Kaifeng to be my favorite day. Longting and the Iron Pagoda were interesting, but Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden was what really stayed with me. We went in the afternoon and the atmosphere gradually became more lively. The old-style streets, bridges and waterways made it easy to imagine what a busy Song Dynasty city might have felt like. It was also nice to have a day that wasn't just about temples and monuments.
Grand Vairocana Buddha cliff carving at Longmen Grottoes, Luoyang China
Mireille
August 13, 2026
We visited in summer and, wow, Luoyang was hot. Longmen was still absolutely worth it, but bring water and wear comfortable shoes! We were glad the day wasn't packed with outdoor sights. After spending a few hours at Longmen, we were definitely ready for some air conditioning and a cold drink. The next morning at White Horse Temple felt much easier, and having a slower start made a big difference.
Ancient gate of Shaolin Temple, home of Chinese Kung?fu
Eira
August 13, 2026
I came mostly for Shaolin Kung Fu, but the temple and Pagoda Forest gave me a much better understanding of where the tradition comes from. The temple grounds were quite peaceful, which I wasn't really expecting. The Kung Fu performance was definitely the most fun part for me. Some of the movements looked almost impossible. Our driver was also very punctual, which made the second day much easier since we had a train to catch afterward.

August 13, 2026
I originally thought we could just take taxis between everything ourselves. After looking at the locations, I changed my mind. Having the car waiting for us made a big difference, especially with only one day. The driver was on time, the vehicle was comfortable, and we didn't waste time figuring out where to go next. I also liked that we weren't pushed through the Old Town. We had some free time to wander around and grab snacks. Small thing, but it made the day feel much more like a trip and less like a checklist.

Elara
August 12, 2026
I was a little worried about doing Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple in one day, but the whole thing was much easier than I expected. The driver was already waiting when we arrived in Luoyang and everything moved pretty smoothly from there. I especially liked that we didn't have to think about getting from Luoyang to Dengfeng ourselves. The day was busy, but it never felt chaotic.
Classical Chinese pavilion and clear spring water at Baotu Spring Park, Jinan
Ivo Merritt
August 12, 2026
We considered doing Jinan, Mount Tai and Qufu on our own, but after looking at the transport between the three places, we decided to book a private tour.
Honestly, it saved us a lot of hassle. The driver was already waiting when we came out of the hotel, the transfers were smooth, and we didn't spend half the day figuring out where to go next. We could also leave our luggage in the car during the transfers. The itinerary is fairly full, but the organization made it manageable.
Colorful stalactite and stalagmite landscape inside Tai'an Underground Dragon Palace
Tavian Brooks
August 12, 2026
I wasn't sure what to expect from the Underground Dragon Palace, but the rafting ended up being one of the funniest parts of the trip. It's not some crazy white-water ride, so don't expect that — it's more of a strange and enjoyable way to see the cave. After spending most of the previous day climbing stairs, sitting in a raft underground felt pretty perfect. The cave itself was also much bigger than I expected.
Main hall of ancient Confucian Temple in Qufu, Shandong
Niamh
August 12, 2026
What I liked most was the pace. I've done private tours before where "private" somehow still means being rushed from one place to another. This one felt different. We had time to actually look around and ask questions. The guide was especially good in Qufu. I knew very little about Confucius before the trip, but by the end of the day I understood why the place is so important. The driver was also always where he was supposed to be, which sounds like a small thing but makes a big difference when you' re traveling with luggage.
Sunrise, jagged peaks and vast cloud sea scenery of Mount Tai
Merritt
August 12, 2026
I knew Mount Tai involved a lot of stairs, but I still underestimated it a little! The climb was tiring, especially toward the top, but our guide never rushed us. We took short breaks when we needed them, which made a big difference. The best part was reaching the top knowing we had actually walked the whole way up. It felt much more rewarding than just taking the cable car.
Stone tablet and cloud sea scenery on Mount Tai
Carys
August 12, 2026
We were a little nervous about doing Mount Tai in one day, especially after hearing about all the stairs. The whole day turned out to be much easier than expected. Our guide helped us decide when to walk and when to take the cable car, which was definitely the right choice for us. The pickup was on time, lunch was simple but good, and we never felt like we were being rushed.
Scenery of Qingdao old town and bay overlook from Xiaoyu Hill
Ione
August 12, 2026
This was our first time in Qingdao, and two days felt like a good introduction. The first day was a nice mix of history, beer, old neighborhoods and the waterfront, rather than spending the whole day in museums. I particularly enjoyed walking around Badaguan — it was much prettier and quieter than I expected. Laoshan on the second day was a nice change of pace. Having a private car was definitely worth it, especially after spending so much time walking the day before.

August 12, 2026
I usually avoid one-day city tours because they often feel like a race between attractions. This experience was completely different.
Our guide adjusted the timing based on the weather and crowds, which made a big difference. We had enough time to enjoy Zhanqiao Pier, take photos, and simply walk by the sea instead of constantly checking the schedule.
The highlight for me was Badaguan. I didn't expect a neighborhood to become the best part of a city tour. Our guide showed us different villa styles and shared stories about Qingdao's history.
Great organization from beginning to end.
Autumn scenery of Daming Lake, Jinan blending ancient pagoda and modern skyscrapers
Milo Kensington
August 12, 2026
I usually avoid organized tours because I don't like feeling rushed, but this private Jinan tour changed my opinion.
The schedule was comfortable and well balanced, giving us enough time to enjoy the city instead of simply moving from one attraction to another. We really appreciated the combination of beautiful scenery, historic neighborhoods, and local atmosphere. Jinan has a very unique charm — peaceful, traditional, and closely connected with its springs and waterways.
The second day was also a great experience. The mountain views offered a completely different perspective of the city, and the pace was easy enough for us to enjoy the walk without feeling tired.
Our guide was very patient and adjusted the pace whenever we needed a break. Great experience overall.
Sunset skyline of Guangzhou, featuring Xinguang Bridge and Guangzhou Tower
Niven Calder
August 11, 2026
This was one of our favorite trips in China.
The itinerary had a very good balance. We started with the busy energy of Guangzhou, then moved into quieter places like Chikan Ancient Town and Kaiping's villages, before finishing with the amazing scenery at Gulong Gorge.
We especially enjoyed the food experiences. The Shunde dinner was unforgettable — simple ingredients but incredible flavors. We also appreciated that our driver suggested local restaurants instead of tourist places.
The best part was the flexibility. Some days we wanted to explore more, and some days we needed a slower pace. The team was very understanding and never made us feel rushed.
Highly recommended for travelers who want to see the authentic side of Guangdong.
Sunset scenery of Tiananmen Rostrum in Beijing, China
Caelan
August 11, 2026
China had been on our travel list for years, but planning a two-week trip across such a large country felt overwhelming. This tour made everything simple.
The route was excellent — Beijing and the Great Wall were incredible, Xi’an and the Terracotta Warriors were unforgettable, and Zhangjiajie was probably the biggest surprise of the trip. Seeing the mountains covered in mist felt like walking into another world.
What impressed us most was the organization. Every airport and train station transfer was arranged smoothly, and every guide was already waiting when we arrived. We never had to worry about finding transportation or buying tickets.
We especially enjoyed the slower moments in Hangzhou and Suzhou. After so many famous landmarks, walking beside West Lake and through ancient water towns gave us a completely different feeling of China.
A wonderful balance of history, nature, and culture.
World Natural Heritage Fanjing Mountain twin peaks with sky bridge Guizhou China
Linnea
August 10, 2026
Guizhou looks amazing in photos, but experiencing it in person was even better. The mountains, rivers, and waterfalls were unforgettable. What we liked most was how easy everything felt. We did not have to worry about finding buses, buying tickets, or planning routes between attractions. The team handled everything, and we could simply enjoy the views. The itinerary was full but never exhausting. A very well-designed private tour.

FAQs

Is China safe for international travelers?

China is widely considered one of the safest countries in the world for international travelers, including families, solo travelers, and first-time visitors. With modern infrastructure, efficient transportation, convenient digital payments, and strong public safety standards, traveling in China is smooth, secure, and highly comfortable.

Do your tours include shopping stops?

We do not include any forced shopping stops or tourist trap stores in our tours. Your time is dedicated entirely to authentic experiences, cultural discovery, and enjoyable travel.

What’s the visa free policy of China?

China currently offers multiple visa-free transit policies, including 24-hour, 72-hour, 144-hour, and in many regions up to 240-hour visa-free transit for eligible travelers. These policies vary depending on nationality, entry point, and travel route. We will help you check the latest requirements and ensure your itinerary matches the applicable policy.

What can you expect from traveling with us?

You can expect a fully supported travel experience from start to finish. This includes professional itinerary planning, responsive communication, experienced English-speaking local guides, private drivers, and carefully selected cultural experiences tailored to your interests.

During your trip, you will also have real-time support for schedule adjustments, emergency assistance, ticket coordination, and any unexpected situations. Every detail is carefully managed to ensure a smooth, safe, and stress-free journey.

Why choose a private China tour instead of group tour?

Private tours offer greater flexibility, comfort, and personalization. You travel at your own pace, customize your itinerary, avoid large groups, and enjoy dedicated guides and drivers focused entirely on your experience.

Private tours key advantages:
A) Better guide experience
Private guides provide full attention, deeper explanations, and a more interactive and personalized way to explore each destination.

B) Comfortable door-to-door transportation
In many scenic areas in China, large tour buses cannot access directly, and guests often need to walk long distances after being dropped off. Private transportation offers door-to-door service, reduces walking, saves time, and makes the journey significantly more relaxed and comfortable.

C) Deeper cultural experience & full flexibility
With one-on-one guide service, you gain richer insights into history, culture, and local life. You can ask questions anytime, and your guide can also help capture photos at the best locations. Most importantly, you travel at your own pace without being rushed by fixed group schedules.

D) Better dining experience
Unlike group tours with fixed basic meals, private tours offer flexible dining options. We recommend restaurants based on your preferences, and you can freely choose dishes while your guide assists with ordering and payment.

How do we help you experience the real China?

We believe authentic travel comes from participation, connection, and local experiences. Depending on your interests, we can arrange immersive cultural activities such as Tai Chi classes, Kung Fu lessons, traditional tea ceremonies, calligraphy experiences, local market visits, and hands-on cooking experiences like dumpling or noodle making.

Food lovers can explore regional cuisine with local food tours and family-style dining experiences, while culture enthusiasts can discover traditional crafts, historic neighborhoods, and local lifestyles guided by people who truly know the destination. Every experience is designed to help you connect with China in a more personal and meaningful way.

Why do travelers trust our tours?

For more than 20 years, we have been dedicated to China travel services, beginning with B2B partnerships before expanding into personalized B2C private tours for travelers from over 20 countries. This long-term experience has given us a deep understanding of different travel styles, expectations, and cultural preferences.

With our own offices and local teams across China, we provide reliable on-the-ground support, consistent service quality, and firsthand local expertise without middlemen. We specialize in high-quality private tours with flexible customization, experienced local guides, transparent pricing, and absolutely no forced shopping stops. Our goal is to deliver seamless and authentic China journeys with excellent value and genuine personal service from start to finish.

What makes our tours different?

With over 20 years of experience in travel services, we understand that meaningful travel is about far more than simply visiting famous attractions. Our journeys are designed to help travelers explore China with greater cultural depth, local insight, and authentic experiences.

Rather than rushing through standard sightseeing routes, our local guides share each destination from a local perspective — from hidden neighborhoods and traditional lifestyles to modern city culture and regional specialties. Every itinerary is personalized and flexible, allowing you to travel at your own pace and truly experience China your way.

Is there a dedicated contact person during booking?

Can we customize our own itinerary?

Absolutely. All our tours are flexible and tailor-made based on your interests, pace and time.
