Meal: Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie train station, your private driver will meet you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.
After check-in, enjoy free time to relax or explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, you can experience local flavors by trying Zhangjiajie specialties such as Sanxia Pot (三下锅), a traditional dish featuring different types of meat and vegetables cooked together, or take a walk around the city to enjoy the local atmosphere.
Accommodation: Meal: After breakfast, begin your adventure in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its incredible quartz sandstone peaks and dramatic mountain scenery.
Start with Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, where you will discover the iconic Hallelujah Mountain, the landscape said to have inspired the floating mountains in Avatar. Take the spectacular Bailong Elevator, built directly into the cliffside, and enjoy a breathtaking ride above the surrounding peaks.
Continue to Tianzi Mountain, known as the "King of Peaks," offering magnificent views of countless sandstone pillars rising through the clouds. Then explore the unique Yangjiajie Area, famous for its steep cliffs, natural rock formations, and less-crowded scenic viewpoints.
After a full day of exploration, return to your hotel and relax.
Accommodation: Meal: In the morning, visit Huangshi Village, one of the most classic viewpoints in Zhangjiajie. Surrounded by lush forests and dramatic peaks, it offers panoramic views of the park's spectacular mountain scenery and is often described as "the best view in Zhangjiajie."
In the afternoon, head to Tianmen Mountain, one of Zhangjiajie's most famous natural wonders. Take the scenic cable car journey up the mountain and enjoy incredible views of winding roads, deep valleys, and towering cliffs.
Visit the legendary Tianmen Cave, a huge natural archway through the mountain known as the “Gateway to Heaven.” Walk along the thrilling cliffside paths and, if you wish, experience the famous glass walkway overlooking the valley below.
After sightseeing, return to your hotel.
