First stop is the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest and most representative UNESCO World Heritage classical garden in Suzhou, built in the Ming Dynasty by a retired scholar. Constructed around vast lotus ponds, the garden features winding covered corridors, exquisite rockeries, elegant waterside pavilions and layered borrowed scenery.
