Overnight: Urumqi

After breakfast, your private guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and begin your journey north toward Burqin, one of the gateways to Northern Xinjiang's most spectacular landscapes.

Today's route follows the impressive S21 Desert Highway, one of China's most scenic desert roads. As you travel across the vast Gurbantunggut Desert, you will witness endless golden landscapes, remote wilderness, and the unique beauty of Xinjiang's desert environment. Your guide will share stories about the region's geography, wildlife, and the importance of this highway connecting northern Xinjiang.

Along the way, enjoy photo stops at scenic viewpoints and take in the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. You will also visit the beautiful Ulungur Lake, where the open water contrasts dramatically with the surrounding dry landscape.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to the legendary Kanas National Park, one of the most beautiful alpine destinations in China.

Continue your drive toward Kuitun, passing through wide open landscapes and viewing the impressive scale of Xinjiang's oil fields and desert scenery along the way.

After the visit, continue your journey back to Urumqi.
