Spend around two and a half hours exploring this world-renowned UNESCO site. Wander along the well-preserved Ming Dynasty ramparts, walk through orderly watchtowers, and overlook the rolling mountain ranges stretching across northern Beijing. You can hike at your own pace, take wide-angle photos of the winding wall, and listen to vivid explanations about ancient military strategies, beacon tower functions and Great Wall construction history.
In the afternoon, transfer back to the urban area. The ride from Badaling to Olympic Park takes approximately one hour. Spend two full hours exploring Beijing Olympic Park, the core venue of Beijing's Summer and Winter Olympic Games. Walk around the open central square to admire the striking structural beauty of National Stadium (Bird's Nest), featuring unique steel lattice design and grand modern silhouette. 2. There are no strict requirements for visitors, but we recommend dressing respectfully and keeping a quieter atmosphere inside the temples. Our guide will also explain some local customs and interesting stories behind the temples, making the visit more meaningful.
3. Absolutely. Besides temples, Putuo Island is famous for its beautiful coastline and natural landscapes. We will include time for seaside walks, scenic viewpoints, and relaxed moments by the ocean, so the experience is not only cultural but also enjoyable.
