Day 1 Beijing: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

We pick you up directly from your hotel in a private vehicle—no meeting points, no confusion, no waiting around. Your guide meets you in the lobby, assists with luggage if needed, and briefly walks you through today's plan so you always know what's coming next, without information overload.

We start with Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world. It's not just a landmark—it's a place where modern history and national identity intersect in a very direct way. Your guide helps you navigate security checks smoothly and positions you at key viewpoints so you don't waste time figuring out where to stand or what you're looking at.

From there, we enter the highlight of the day: Forbidden City. This is where the tone of the entire trip shifts. Massive courtyards, layered gates, and perfectly aligned axes are not just beautiful—they are intentional. We guide you through a well-paced route that avoids unnecessary backtracking while still covering the most iconic halls and hidden details most visitors miss.

Around midday, we take you to a carefully selected local restaurant for lunch. This is not a rushed tourist buffet stop. We choose a comfortable, clean, and authentic Beijing-style restaurant where you can actually sit down, relax, and reset. Expect classic local dishes (adaptable to dietary needs), with your guide helping you order so you don't have to guess anything on the menu. This is your pause moment—good food, no rush, and a chance to let the morning settle in.

After lunch, we continue to Temple of Heaven. If the Forbidden City shows you imperial control, the Temple of Heaven shows you balance. The architecture is lighter, more symbolic, and surprisingly peaceful. Outside the main halls, you'll see a completely different side of Beijing life—locals practicing tai chi, singing traditional songs, playing instruments, or simply enjoying the park atmosphere. Your guide helps you slow down here. This is not a "tick-the-box" stop—it's a place where the city breathes differently, and you're encouraged to do the same.

After a relaxed visit, we drive you back to your hotel in comfort. No detours, no pressure for shopping stops, no forced extras. Just a smooth return—and probably your first moment to realize how much you've already seen in a single day, without ever feeling rushed.

Day 2 Beijing: Great Wall & Summer Palace

Accommodation Accommodation:
4 star/5 star hotel/botique hotel (can be customized)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

Today you stay in Beijing, but the experience feels like you've left the city entirely and stepped into a completely different world. As always, your day begins with a private hotel pickup. Your guide meets you in the lobby, checks today's plan with you, and makes sure you're ready for a full but comfortable day outside the city. No rushing, no confusing transfers—just a clean, smooth start.

We head out early toward the Great Wall of China, one of the most scenic and well-preserved sections of the Great Wall. As the skyline of Beijing slowly disappears behind you, the landscape begins to change—highways give way to mountains, and the energy shifts from urban rhythm to open space. This transition is part of the experience itself. At the Great Wall, you're not just "visiting a landmark." You're stepping into something that stretches across ridgelines and disappears into the distance in both directions. Your guide will help you choose the best walking route based on your pace and energy level, whether you prefer a light cable car experience or a more active climb.

After descending from the Great Wall, we stop for a well-earned lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant near the mountain area. This is a comfortable sit-down meal, not a rushed stop. The idea is simple: you've just experienced one of China's most iconic sights—you should be able to enjoy lunch without checking the clock. Your guide helps with ordering, introduces regional dishes, and adjusts recommendations based on your preferences. Everything is designed to be easy, warm, and satisfying before heading back into the city.

We return to Beijing and continue to the elegant Summer Palace. If the Great Wall is about scale and strength, the Summer Palace is about flow and balance. Here, everything slows down naturally—the lake stretches wide, pavilions sit quietly along the water, and long corridors guide you through shaded pathways. Your guide doesn't rush you here. Instead, you're given time to walk, sit, or simply watch the landscape change with light and wind.

In the late afternoon, we drive you back to your hotel in a private vehicle. No shopping detours, no forced stops—just a comfortable return after a full day of contrasts: from mountain silence to lakeside calm. By now, you'll likely notice something important: Beijing doesn't feel like one type of city anymore. It feels layered—and you've only just started to understand it.

Day 3 Beijing → Tianjin: Five Avenues, Italian Style Street, Tianjin Eye

Accommodation Accommodation:
N/A (Flexible, can be included based on your needs)
MealMeal:
Meals are flexible and can be included or excluded. When included, authentic local dining will be arranged.

Today you leave Beijing and head toward Tianjin—a city that feels like it decided long ago it didn't need to follow the same rules. As usual, your morning starts with a private hotel pickup. Your guide meets you in the lobby, helps you settle in, and today's transition begins immediately: from imperial grandeur to something much more relaxed, eclectic, and unexpectedly playful.

The drive from Beijing to Tianjin takes about two hours by private vehicle, and this stretch is part of the experience. You'll notice the city slowly loosening its edges—skyscrapers fade, highways open up, and the pace subtly shifts. It feels less like "traveling between cities" and more like switching chapters.

Once you arrive in Tianjin, we start with the famous Five Avenues area. This is where Tianjin shows off its personality without trying too hard. Streets are lined with hundreds of European-style villas—British, French, Italian, German—all coexisting in a way that somehow works perfectly here. But what makes this place special isn't just architecture. It's life happening inside it. Locals walk dogs under tree-lined streets, cafés open their doors quietly, and the whole area feels like a living postcard that never got staged. Your guide will lead you through the most scenic streets and also point out the small stories behind certain buildings—who lived here, why it matters, and why Tianjin ended up looking like "Europe with a Chinese twist."

Around midday, we stop for lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant in Tianjin. This is your chance to experience local northern Chinese flavors in a relaxed setting. The restaurant is chosen for comfort, cleanliness, and authentic taste—not tourist crowds. Your guide will help you order dishes that suit your preference, whether you want something classic, light, or a bit more adventurous. It's a proper break in the day, not a rushed stop—because Tianjin is best enjoyed when you're not in a hurry.

After lunch, we continue to Tianjin Italian Style Street. This area feels like someone recreated a small European town and then let it grow naturally over time. Brick buildings, open squares, cafés, and soft street music create a completely different rhythm from Beijing. Here, the experience is less about "seeing landmarks" and more about wandering. You might sit for a coffee, take photos along the riverfront, or simply stroll without a fixed direction. Your guide stays nearby, but the pace is yours.

We then head to the riverside area to see the iconic Tianjin Eye, the giant Ferris wheel that rises directly above the Haihe River. This is your final highlight in Tianjin. The river moves slowly, the wheel turns gently, and the whole scene feels like a soft pause before heading back. It's also the perfect moment to realize how different this city feels from Beijing—less formal, more relaxed, but just as memorable in its own way.

After the visit, we begin your return journey to Beijing by private vehicle. The drive back is quiet and comfortable. There's no rush, no complicated transfers—just a smooth ride after a full day of contrasts, architecture, and riverside views. We drop you off directly at your hotel in Beijing in the evening. And just like that, your Beijing Tianjin tour comes to an end—not with a big finale, but with a feeling that you've seen two cities that don't behave anything alike… and that's exactly what makes the journey interesting.

A peaceful escape from Hangzhou

We wanted to visit Putuo Mountain but were worried about the complicated transportation connections from Hangzhou. This private tour made everything much easier. The driver picked us up from our hotel in the morning, helped us with the ferry transfer, and explained what to expect before arriving on the island. Putuo Mountain itself was beautiful and peaceful. Walking through the temples surrounded by trees and hearing the ocean nearby was a very special experience. We never felt rushed, which made the trip much more enjoyable.

Thank you, Elara! We're glad we could make your journey to Putuo Mountain smooth and relaxing. The ferry transfer can be confusing for first-time visitors, so we're happy that our team could take care of the details and let you focus on enjoying the temples, forests, and coastal scenery.

Questions about Putuo Island

Hi, I'm interested in this private tour because we would like to experience the cultural side of Putuo Island rather than just visit the famous spots. I have a few questions:
1. Are the temples on Putuo Island very crowded? Is there a better time of day to visit them?
2. Do we need to follow any special rules when visiting Buddhist temples?
3. Will we have time to enjoy the seaside scenery, or is the itinerary mainly focused on temples?

Hi Caelan,
Thank you for your questions! We really appreciate that you are interested in experiencing the deeper cultural side of Putuo Island. It is not only a Buddhist destination but also a beautiful island with forests, beaches, and coastal scenery.
1. The main temples, especially Puji Temple, can become busy during weekends and holiday periods. To provide a better experience, our guide will usually arrange the sightseeing order according to crowd levels and opening times, allowing you to enjoy quieter moments whenever possible.
2. There are no strict requirements for visitors, but we recommend dressing respectfully and keeping a quieter atmosphere inside the temples. Our guide will also explain some local customs and interesting stories behind the temples, making the visit more meaningful.
3. Absolutely. Besides temples, Putuo Island is famous for its beautiful coastline and natural landscapes. We will include time for seaside walks, scenic viewpoints, and relaxed moments by the ocean, so the experience is not only cultural but also enjoyable.

We would be happy to help you discover a more authentic side of Putuo Island!

One of the best nature trips we have taken in China

Guizhou was a fantastic choice for travelers who want something different from the usual China itinerary. Libo Xiaoqikong was like a natural paradise — clear rivers, waterfalls, and green forests everywhere.
The communication before the trip was excellent. The team answered our questions quickly and helped us prepare for the journey. During the tour, everything was organized but still felt flexible and personal.

A wonderful journey

We traveled as a family and were impressed by how smoothly everything was arranged. The route included beautiful landscapes but was not too exhausting. My favorite part was probably the evening in Huanggang Village. It was very different from the places we had visited before — quiet, traditional, and welcoming. We really enjoyed learning about Dong culture from our guide.
Thank you for making our Guizhou trip so comfortable and memorable.
